On Tuesday, May 13, Superior Technology Solutions’ president John Luludis will deliver a webinar through the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce titled, “Protect Your Business from the Risks of Unrestricted Internet Access.”

Both Superior Technology and the Mahwah Chamber feel strongly about educating local organizations about the risks posed by unsecured technology. “We’re excited to share with the MRCC members how to create an effective information security policy to control and manage the security of information, while leveraging evolving technologies,” says Luludis. “Many area small businesses do not understand what needs to be in place to protect themselves.”
Luludis explains, “The current surge in everyday tech means that businesses are increasingly using evolving technologies to conduct their business and communicate with customers, including social media, email, video conferencing, chatting, instant messaging and blogging. Malware, viruses, spyware infection and the inadvertent disclosure of confidential information can put your business at risk. We’ll discuss approaches to help minimize these risks.”

John Luludis brings experience to the MRCC from a decades-long career leading enterprise-wide security initiatives. Prior to cofounding Superior Technology, Luludis served as the Senior Vice President of global shipping provider DHL, where he managed all technology in the logistics division and several hundred employees.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday, May 13th from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and is free for both members and non-members of the MRCC. Those interested can register for the webinar here.
