New Jersey-Based Business to Welcome Users From Across the Country for Training Conference

Published July 11, 2014

(July 2014) Dumont, NJ-based CompuDance, a custom software package used by dance and gymnastics studios to manage logistics such as class schedules, registration and billing, will host a day-long conference on Wednesday, July 23rd for their current customers and partners.

CompuDance Founder and President Maureen Strehl will conduct the software presentation along with Tanveer Ashraf, CompuDance chief technology officer. Strehl will also draw on other staff to assist in additional components of the conference. Throughout the course of the day, the woman-owned business will deliver sessions covering training, application development, support, sales, and customer service. In addition to software-related training, the day will include sessions on topics such as studio management, business growth through alternate revenue streams, and human resource issues.

Superior Technology, CompuDance’s technology partner, will be on-site for the day as the hosting and registration application provider, and can answer any questions users may have.

Rocco Santorufo, a CompuDance partner and the director of Broadway Bound, a 900-student dance studio, will speak to CompuDance users about the management of dance studios. Attendees will also benefit from a session led by Deirdre Rosen, Vice President of Human Resources at Trump International. In addition to her HR expertise, Ms. Rosen also teaches Musical Theatre Production classes.

CompuDance’s customers will be traveling from states across the nation, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Delaware, New York, and New Jersey.

In the three short years since Strehl took the CompuDance reigns, the company’s business has tripled, with users in all fifty states and Canada. Through their work with technology provider Superior Technology Solutions, Strehl and her team debuted a brand new website, converted a large percentage of existing desktop users to their cloud-based system, and developed an online registration portal. This portal allows dance, gymnastics and music students to register for classes from home, as opposed to in-studio.

Superior Technology Solutions President John Luludis shares, “We are thrilled that our team is able to support CompuDance as they continue to exceed their goals, and we look forward to taking part in this important day for our customer and their users.”

The CompuDance conference will take place at 99 W. Madison Avenue Dumont, NJ. To register for the conference or for more information, call 888-248-3679 or email info@compuacademy.net
